EU Industry Week: Industry 4.0, smart cities & co-housing

A nice and high-level skilled audience gathered for this first B-Sprouts event on Industry 4.0 and IoT.
For unaware audience, IoT means Internet of Things. They are all those connected devices like smartphones, cameras, TVs, etc.
Olavi Luotonen, Programme Officer European Commission DG CONNECT Future Networks Internet of Things, opened the day with valuable information on European programmes regarding IoT: they are numerous!
Then each expert made an introduction before the afternoon’s world cafés:
- Industry 4.0 and IoT, by Jürgen Coetsiers, B-Sprouts
- Industry 4.0 and circular economy, by Jeremy Levin, Innoviris
- Industry 4.0 and co-housing, by Marina Aubert, FitMyNest
- Industry 4.0 and security, by Zahra Khani, Firmalyzer
A representative of the Confederation Construction, the Belgian association of builders, announced an Hackathon week-end on Digital Building on 22nd of April. It seems FitMyNest will be part of it!
In the afternoon, the world cafés offered the participants the opportunity to exchange on each topic. The world café on Industry 4.0 and co-housing was very rich.
The final plenary session ended up with a vivid discussion on co-housing IoT possibilities.
See you next at the Hackathon week-end on Digital Building, geeks!
